"What should a relationship be based on? Trust? Understanding? Feelings? Happiness? Love? Can any relationship between two people be as simple as feeling happy together as they are in today's terms? Or do we still have to look at the physical, material aspects? How do those old couples you see in the parks last till they themselves withered but their love remains steadfast? Sometimes I no longer know what being together means. I feel happy when you're here, right beside me, when you're sharing yourself. We don't have to be talking, even silent moments spent with you can be one of the best memories ever. I think a relationship should be about feeling at ease, being comfortable with somebody you do like. You don't have to force yourself or the other party to do anything, everything falls right into its own place, even the arguments, the fights. The bad memories are all part of what it means to try to be in fusion with someone else. Being together, in simple terms, also means that at the end of the day, no matter how far apart, you would think of him/her before you go to bed."
Food for thought.
Anyway....
Last Sat with the Fam at Nirvana for Granddad's prayers. Been two years sigh.
Time passes reaaally fast! :/
The youngest in the family says hi!
She's sooooooooooo cute. She was fascinated/shocked/curious when I turned on the front camera and she sees herself appearing inside my phone. Hahahaha.
"Eurghhhhh whattt how did I get in there!"
"Heh, this is actually fun!"
Went to Malaysia Boleh at Jurong Point thereafter to have a simple lunch with the fam. This is....... slightly above average.
"Are you still gonna love me if I look like a walrus?" *shows razor teeth*
Random day's selcas.
Skinny Pizza with my intern colleagues on Wednesday night!
They are the two girls who know most of my stuff and after I left the company, the ones whom I update most often. I am so glad to reunite with them after what seems like years. ♥♥♥
And I finally finished this read on Friday.
I've been reading this book on and off for months.
It's not the book's problem that took me so long to finish.
I just... have a shorter attention span nowadays I guess.
Nonetheless, Jodi Picoult had set me thinking a lot after reading such a fabulous book penned by her.
There are many things in life that we can do to change someone's day, or maybe their whole life.
Brings me back to the GD quote.
Brings me back to my inspiration and motivation.
Brings me back to how I really felt about people before I changed.
Okayyy shall end this post with meaningless selcas. Go ahead if you wanna see them haha.
Trying out the sick-but-still-have-to-smile kinda look hahaha
Bye!
